On February 22, 2020, First Vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with the highest degree of the Pontifical Order of Knighthood – Knights Grand Cross of the Order of Pius IX (Dama di Gran Croce dell’ordine Piano) - for her contribution to the development of culture, including the relations with institutions of the Holy See.

State Secretary of the Holy See Cardinal Pietro Parolin presented the order to First Vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva in Vatican.

On August 13, 2019, by the Order of President Vladimir Putin, Mehriban Aliyeva was conferred on the Order of Friendship of the Russian Federation for her contribution to the advancement and strengthening of the Azerbaijani-Russian relations.

On November 22, 2019, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin presented the award to Mehriban Aliyeva.

On January 18, 2019, Mehriban Aliyeva was conferred on the honorary medal “Uzeir Hajibeyli”, instituted by the Composers Union, for her matchless contributions to preservation of the rich legacy of composer-genius, founder of the contemporary Azerbaijani music Uzeir Hajibeyli, and conveying them to future generations.

On September 22, 2018, Mehriban Aliyeva was presented the Medal of Special Merit of the International Fair Play Committee for her exemplary achievements in the sports world, and promotion of Fair Plays.

On July 12, 2018, Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with the order of Knight Grand Cross “For Merits” of the Italian Republic. This order is honoured with for significant services to the people in such spheres as economy, public and humanitarian activities, charity, literature, art etc.

On July 18, 2018, President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, in the framework of his official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, presented the order to Mehriban Aliyeva.

Mehriban Aliyeva has been honoured with the Gold Medal of the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre for her contributions to global projects and advancement of education, science and culture.

On March 15, 2018, the Gold Medal of the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre was presented to Mehriban Aliyeva.

For the support provided to the Russian Orthodox Church and the care shown towards developing Astrakhan city, Patriarch of Moscow and all Rus` Kirill conferred Mehriban Aliyeva on the Saint Princess Olga Order of 2nd degree.

On 26 December 2017, Patriarch of Moscow and all Rus` Kirill presented the Saint Princess Olga Order of 2nd degree to Mehriban Aliyeva in the Christ the Saviour Temple located in the Russian Federation’s capital.

On September 22, 2016, for the great contribution to preservation and promotion of Bulgaria’s cultural heritage, and active participation in this work, Mehriban Aliyeva was conferred on a diploma of honorary doctor of the Veliko Tyrnovo University named after Saints Cyril and Methodius.

On September 22, 2016, for the services to preservation of a cultural heritage of the city of Veliko Tyrnovo, Mehriban Aliyeva was presented, in Bulgaria, the diploma of an honorary citizen of the city, and a badge.

On 6 March 2016, within the framework of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s official visit to Azerbaijan, a ceremony of conferring Mehriban Aliyeva on Commander’s Cross Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary took place.

On January 21, 2016, the National Hero Chingiz Mustafayev Foundation and ANS Group of Companies  announced Mehriban Aliyeva the “Person of 2015” for her exclusive role in high-level organization and holding of the Baku-2015 first European Games, large-scale activities towards worldwide promotion of Azerbaijan’s positive image, works she has done for mutual integration of Azerbaijani and world cultures, contribution to the formation of a multicultural environment in the country, and her consistent benevolent activity.

On March 1, 2016, a ceremony of presenting "The Person of 2015" Award to Mehriban Aliyeva took place at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Mehriban Aliyeva was conferred on the High Order - the highest award of the European Olympic Committee - by a decision of the European Olympic Committees’ Executive Committee, for her special services to the development of sport in Europe.

On 21 January 2016, at a regular sitting of the European Olympic Committees’ Executive Committee held in Lausanne, the High Order was presented to Mehriban Aliyeva.

On 12 November 2015, Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded UN Population Fund's diploma and souvenir for her services towards protecting women and children's rights and ensuring gender equality in Azerbaijan.

By a decree of President of the Republic of AzerbaijanIlham Aliyev dated 29 June 2015, Mehriban Aliyeva was conferred on the Heydar Aliyev Order for her activity associated with the development of culture, education and healthcare in the Republic of Azerbaijan, broad promotion of the Azerbaijani people’s cultural heritage on an international scale, and great services to the organization of the 1^st European Games.

The Heydar Aliyev Order was presented to Mehriban Aliyeva on 29 June 2015, at a ceremony of awarding persons who have made special contribution to the holding of Baku-2015 1^st European Games, the sportsmen that have successfully performed at the European Games, and their coaches, as well as chairpersons of sports federations. 

26 March 2015, Mehriban Aliyeva was conferred on a high state award of the Serbian Republic – the Sreten Order – for her special services before the Serbian Republic in the public, cultural and humanitarian fields.

On 11 June 2015, within the framework of the visit by President of the Serbian Republic Tomislav Nicolich to Azerbaijan, a ceremony of presenting to Mehriban Aliyeva the Sreten Order took place.

On 11 February 2015, Mehriban Aliyeva was conferred on the order of “Hilal-e Pakistan” – the highest state award of Pakistan – for the services and great contributions she has made to Pakistan.

On March 11, 2015, within the official visit of President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mamnun Hussein to Azerbaijan, a ceremony of presenting to Mehriban Aliyeva the “Hilel-e-Pakistan” Order took place.

In August 2014, Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with an Honorary Diploma of the State of Kuwait for her worldwide promotion of the Islamic cultural heritage, noble activities both in Azerbaijan and beyond its boundaries, as well as great contribution she has made to education and healthcare.

On August 14, 2014, Mehriban Aliyeva was conferred on the Order of “For Services to Astrakhan Region”.

On 22 October 2014, governor of Astrakhan Region of the Russian Federation Alexander Jilkin presented the order to Mehriban Aliyeva at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with the "Olympic Excellence" Special Honorary Award of the International Olympic Academy for her services to promotion of Olympic values.

On June 16, 2014, at the opening ceremony of the 54^th Session of the International Olympic Academy’s Young Participants in Athens, the award was presented to Mehriban Aliyeva.

On June 15, 2014, President of “Elpida” Friendship Association of Children Suffering From Cancer Marianna Vardinoyannis presented the “Elpida” Award to Mehriban Aliyeva in Athens.

On May 14, 2014, Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with “First Lady of the Year” Award by “The Business Year” Magazine for her active role in Azerbaijan’s public, social and cultural life, contributions made to the society’s dynamic development, matchless services towards promoting our culture in the world, multilateral support provided for preservation of the world cultural heritage, and loyalty to the principles of social justice and humanism.

On May 12, 2014, for the contributions made to dialogue between civilizations, as well as for the services to promotion of the Turkic world in Germany and development of Azerbaijan-Germany relations, Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded an honorary prize of the Turkish-German Friendship Federation – “Cybele”.

According to the results of the survey conducted by the Arab Cultural Heritage Centre of France and “Nefertiti Media Productions” Company of Egypt from 8 March 2013 to 10 January 2014, Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with the title of the Most Influential Woman of 2014, taking into account her special merits in her activity as a Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO, as well as the contributions made to promotion of culture and exchange of international culture, and development of science, healthcare, sports, education, technology, and protection of environment. 

On December 27, 2013, Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with the award "Martyr Benazir Bhutto Woman Perfection Prize - 2013" of Pakistan.

Pakistan's influential newspaper "Daily Times" and the Women Volunteers Association declared Mehriban Aliyeva "The Symbol of Humanism - The Person of  2012" for the humanitarian actions that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation  held in all the regions of Pakistan in 2012, including the works done in the spheres of education and healthcare.

On November 16, 2012, Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with the highest award of the International Cossack Academy for her kindness, benevolence, tireless activity for the benefit of nations, and support provided to the Cossack.

In 2012, Mehriban Aliyeva was conferred on the “Prix de la Fondation” Award of the Crans Montana Forum for her large-scale activity towards building a better world.

The award was presented to Mehriban Aliyeva within the framework of the Crans Montana Forum held on June 29, 2012 in Baku.

On April 10, 2012, Mehriban Aliyeva was conferred on the “Stars of the Commonwealth” Interstate Prize by the Humanitarian Cooperation Council (HCC) of CIS member states and the Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Foundation (IHCF) of CIS member countries for her humanitarian activity.

On April 13, 2012, the Prize was presented to Mehriban Aliyeva at a ceremony of awarding the laureates of the “Stars of the Commonwealth” Interstate Prize in the Pashkov House of the Russian State Library.  

On February 13, 2012, Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with the title of Honorary Professor of the Russian Federation’s I.M.Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University for her considerable contribution to solving global issues associated with healthcare, protection of the environment, peace, and humanism.

On March 13, 2012, a ceremony of presenting to Mehriban Aliyeva the title of Honorary Professor of the Russian Federation’s I.M.Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University took place in the building of the Medical History Museum located in MSMU.

Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the Gold Medal of the Crans Montana Forum for her valuable activity towards building a better world.

On June 24, 2011, a ceremony of presenting the Gold Medal of the Crans Montana Forum to Mehriban Aliyeva took place in Brussels.

Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with UNESCO`s ‘Mozart Gold Medal’ for her services to strengthening of dialogue among cultures.

The Mozart Gold Medal was presented to Mehriban Aliyeva on July 30, 2010 at the opening of the 2^nd Gabala International Music Festival.

On February 15, 2010, Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with the Officer Degree of ‘Legion of Honour’ Order by a resolution of the President of the Republic of France for her services and loyalty to France.

On October 7, 2011, within the framework of French President Nicola Sarkozy’s official visit to Azerbaijan, a ceremony of presenting the Officer Degree of ‘Legion of Honour’ Order to Mehriban Aliyeva  took place.

For the contribution to  enhancement of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Poland, Mehriban Aliyeva was decorated with the ‘Senior Commander Cross’ Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland.

A ceremony of presenting the order took place on September 14, 2009 at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. 

By a decree of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated May 5, 2009, Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the Heydar Aliyev Prize for her fruitful activity in the public, political and cultural life of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At a ceremony arranged at Buta Palace on May 10, 2009 on the occasion of the 86^th anniversary of Azerbaijani people’s national leader Heydar Aliyev and 5^th anniversary of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s activity, the Heydar Aliyev Prize was presented to Mehriban Aliyeva.

Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with the ‘Golden Heart’ International Award for her large-scale philanthropic activity, and high achievements in serving to supreme ideals of the mankind.

On May 27, 2007, the award was presented to Mehriban Aliyeva at the fourth presentation ceremony of the “Golden Heart” International Award held at the Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre in Moscow. 

By a unanimous decision of the 120^th Session of the World Health Organization’s (WHO)  Executive Committee  held in Geneva on January 29, 2007, Mehriban Aliyeva was conferred on an award of the Organization for her exclusive service to protection and strengthening of mother, child and family health.

On May 17, 2007, the award was presented to Mehriban Aliyeva at a sitting of the 60^th Session of the World Health Assembly, a high organ of WHO, in Geneva. 

Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the title of a Goodwill Ambassador of ISESCO (Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) for her wide-scale and selfless activity in different spheres, including the dialogue among civilizations,  attention shown towards  children in need of care,  big support to improvement of their living conditions, education, as well as the works carried out in the Islamic world.

On November 23, 2006, a ceremony of presenting to Mehriban Aliyeva the title of a Goodwill Ambassador took place at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. 

For the contribution made to preservation of cultural and moral values, Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the Golden Medal of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) of the UN.

On March 3, 2006, presentation of the award took place at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. 

On January 5, 2006, the National Hero Chingiz Mustafayev Foundation and the ANS Group of Companies announced Mehriban Aliyeva ‘The Person of 2005' for her services to the development of the education system in the country, protection of the national and cultural heritage, the works she has done for a positive image of Azerbaijan in the world, high-level organization and holding of the 27^th World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship in Azerbaijan, as well as her philanthropic activity.

On January 31, 2006, a ceremony of presenting 'The Person of 2005' Award to Mehriban Aliyeva took place in the large ceremonies hall of Park Inn Hotel in Baku.

In 2005, according to the results of a social poll conducted by the Azerbaijan Sociology Association, following the initiative of “Women-Leaders” Public Union, Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the title of "The Woman of the Year" for her high ethical qualities inherent in an Azerbaijani woman, and wide-scale philanthropic activity.

On July 18, 2005, a ceremony of presenting the award took place at the Yacht Club in Baku.

On June 9, 2005, Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the 'Ruby Cross' Order of 'Philanthropists of the Century International Charity Foundation of Russia for her public, philanthropic and charitable activities, support to  educational and cultural institutions, and precious contributions to  strengthening the friendly ties between the nations of Azerbaijan and Russia.

On October 13, 2005, a ceremony of presenting the order took place at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. 

In March 2005, Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with “Caspian Energy Integration Award-2005”, an international award on the nomination of “The Public Figure of 2004”.

On August 13, 2004, Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the title of a Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO for her tireless efforts towards protection and development of Azerbaijan's verbal folk literature and music heritage.

On September 9, 2004, a ceremony of awarding Mehriban Aliyeva the title of a Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO took place at the organization’s headquarters.
