A ceremony of laying the foundation of the first nine-storied house and school building takes place at Yasamal Residential Complex

On December 24, a ceremony of laying the foundation of the first nine-storied house and a school building to be constructed at the Yasamal Residential Complex, a project by the State Agency for Housing Construction under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, took place.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the ceremony.

The first project of the Agency, this Complex is located at the external circular highway. Total area of the Complex will be 11.6 hectares, with some 5 hectares of greenery zone in the vicinity of the area.

President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation of the first nine-storied house to be constructed at the Yasamal Residential Complex.

This to-be-created village will consist of 29 apartment houses. Out of them, 17 buildings will be a two-block, with 12 being one-block, according to the plan. Out of 1854 apartments in these houses, 301 will be one-room apartments, 1110 two-room apartments, and 443 three-room apartments. Area of the one-room apartments will be 31 to 33 square metres, two-room apartments will be 50 to 58 square metres, while three-room apartments’ area will make up 70 square metres. All apartments will be offered to the citizens completely ready for occupation, with interior finishing completed and a kitchen furniture installed.

Special attention will be shown towards ensuring transparency in purchasing apartments by the apartments to be constructed. To this end, the electronic system “Apartments on preferential terms” will be created on the portal “Electronic Government”. This system will allow citizens to get registered by means of creating a virtual “personal cabinet” and acquire an apartment in future, having benefited from relevant services based on the principles of sequence. The system will start to function as of May 1, 2017.

Then, the Head of the State laid the foundation of the school building to be constructed here.

Along with apartment houses, a series of social objects too will be constructed at the complex. Among them are a kindergarten for 240, and a secondary education school for 960. Creation of relevant social infrastructure, as well as non-residential areas for public catering, personal services etc. are expected on the territory.

Then, Director of the State Agency for Housing Construction Samir Nuriyev and member of a young family eligible to acquire an apartment Khanum Ismailova delivered a speech.
