Gobustan-Poladly motorway is commissioned

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of the Gobustan-Poladly motorway, May 7.

According to the information given, 6.4 million Manats had been allocated to the Azerbaijan State Hıghways Agency from the state budget’s investment costs, in accordance with the Resolution signed by the Azerbaijani President in 2018, for the construction of the Gobustan-Poladly motorway, linking 6 settlements with population of 5 thousand people. Total length of the two-lane road is 14.5 kilometres, with the movement section’s width being 6 metres. 7 water-drain pipes of different diameters were installed during the construction of the fourth technical-grade road, and road signs, indication plates, signalling poles were fixed where necessary, road lines painted. Construction of the road has been performed in accordance with the technological sequence, and with high quality. The Gobustan-Poladly motorway now allows people residing in this district to travel in any direction of the republic using the Baku-Shamakhy-Yevlakh highway.
