President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva commemorate the 20th January martyrs

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyeva and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva commemorated the 20^th January martyrs on the National Mourning Day, January the 20^th, at the Alley of Martyrs.

The Head of the State laid a wreath before the monument “Eternal Torch”.

The special exemplary orchestra of the Defence Ministry performed the state anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

State and government officials, heads of religious communities in the republic, ambassadors of foreign countries to Azerbaijan and representatives of international organizations too participated in the ceremony.
