Mehriban Aliyeva meets with Stanislas de Quercize, the President of French jewellery house Van Cleef & Arpels

Mehriban Aliyeva, Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, met with Stanislas de Quercize, the President of French jewellery house Van Cleef & Arpels, at the Museum of Modern Art, where “Pearls of Art” exhibition opened, 4 May.

The First Lady praised the fact the exhibition, which is held for the third time, was arranged in Baku. "Organizing the exhibition in Baku is a remarkable event in the cultural life of Azerbaijan”, she said, noting the exhibition was organized by the Museum of Modern Art and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Mrs Aliyeva expressed confidence the exhibition would contribute to developing cultural relations. She mentioned jewels displayed in the exposition show the history of development of Van Cleef & Arpels. Azerbaijan`s First Lady expressed hope Stanislas de Quercize`s visit to Baku would be a success.

The Van Cleef & Arpels President said he was pleased to be in Azerbaijan. Mr De Quercize expressed confidence the exhibition would contribute to developing the cultural relations between Azerbaijan and France.
