President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva attend the opening of a new stretch of the Seaside National Park

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva inaugurated a new section of the Seaside National Park, May 7. The President and his spouse toured the Park`s expanded area by electric cars. The redevelopment saw the opening of a new line for cars, mini-buses and mini-trains travelling on the facility`s territory. A new bicycle lane was also built here.

The Park`s 450m-long pier was extended to further 100m into the sea. The expansion will see the Park reach 25km in length, linking it to Zygh and Shykh beaches. Also, tours to islands in the Caspian Sea will be arranged here using taxi boats. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva viewed the new pleasure boats. The President also inspected pedestrian passages in the new section of the Park.
