Visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 11 March 2005.

Special visit program was prepared for First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva within the framework of the President’s official visit.

Acquaintance with the Museum-Centre in Ar Riadh

On May 11, Mehriban Aliyeva visited the History Museum-Centre named after King Abdulaziz in Ar Riyadh.

Mehriban Aliyeva viewed rooms for ceremonies, saloons, as well as old and rich samples of art pictured on the walls, ceiling and even on the floors that draw attention as obvious sign of the Eastern culture’s richness.

Then a documentary about the life and activity of King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Temples, was shown.

Mehriban Aliyeva viewed the special complex created within the Museum-Centre in connection with extension and improvement of Two Holy Temples – Mecca and Medina, and  wrote her heartfelt words in the honorary guests book.

The First Lady was presented a book about the Museum-Centre.
