On August 23, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in the Republic of Uzbekistan for a state visit.
A Guard of Honour lined up in honour of the Head of the State at Tashkent-Khumo International Airport.
President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were welcomed by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirzizoyev and his spouse Ziroatkhon Mirzizoyeva.
