Visit to Lithuania

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev was on a visit to the Republic of Lithuania, May 21.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were welcomed by Lithuanian Minister of Environment Simonas Gentvilas, and other officials.

On May 22, First Lady of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva and First Lady of the Republic of Lithuania Diana Nausėdienė became familiar with the Lithuanian National Library named after Martynas Mažvydas

Mehriban Aliyeva was informed of the library’s activities.

Books about Azerbaijan’s culture, art, history, as well as Karabakh and Shusha were presented to the library on behalf of Mehriban Aliyeva.

Official dinner in Vilnius

On May 22, an official dinner was served in honour of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva on behalf of Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda and his spouse Diana Nausėdienė in Vilnius.
