On July 5th, a new residential complex laid out in Pirallahy district for 306 internally displaced families was commissioned into operation.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the ceremony.
According to the information given, the new residential complex, comprised of apartment buildings, intended for 306 internally displaced families temporarily settled in hostels and other administrative buildings in Pirallahy district, was constructed based on a resolution signed by the President in 2011. Three buildings were constructed under the project, two out of which have 72 apartments, the third having 62 apartment. The residential complex includes a secondary school, and other necessary infrastructure objects have been created, vast renovation and greenery planting works carried out here. While laying out this complex, special attention was shown towards building an electricity, water, gas, heating supply and irrigation systems, as well as communication and TV networks. This is the 104th modern residential complex laid out for internally displaced people in this country.
Becoming familiarized with the conditions created in apartments, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were informed that out of all furnished apartments, 37 are one-room, 107 two-room, 126 three-room, and 36 four-room apartments. Total area of the apartments is 24 thousand square metres. Internally displaced families settled in hostels and other administrative buildings in Pirallahy district will be provided with apartments in the new residential complex.
Then, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, while becoming familiarized with the conditions created in the secondary school, were told that this education institution was designed for 220 pupils. All necessary conditions have been ensured at the school - distinguished for high-level conditions, drawing attention with modern equipment - for education. In the computer room, pupils will master the information technologies.
The sports hall of the school too has been provided with necessary equipment, and there are all possibilities for pupils to engage in physical training.
Then, the President and the First Lady met with internally displaced people.
