Angelina Vovk : “Mehriban Aliyeva deserves the highest esteem and respect”
08.09.2015Russia’s legendary TV host Angelina Vovk, in her interview to “Moscow-Baku” Portal, shared her memories of the meeting with Mehriban Aliyeva, Azerbaijan’s First Lady, the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
She said: “Peter Sheremetyev (chairperson of the Russian Music Association in Paris, rector of the Russian Conservatoire named after S.Rakhmaninov in Paris- edit.) and I presented the order of “Ruby Cross” to Mehriban Aliyeva as a Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO. Mehriban khanum was awarded this high public decoration for her active benevolent works and the services she has provided to her country. The decoration ceremony took place at a high level. For her beauty, intellectuality and nobility, Mehriban Aliyeva deserves the highest esteem and respect. In the meantime, Mehriban Aliyeva is the first woman to be honoured with this award.”
