President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva watched the final stage of the 16th World Boxing Championship in Baku

The 16^th World Boxing Championship held in Baku finished on October 8.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva and President of the International Boxing Association Ching-Kuo Wuwatched the final stage of the championship at the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Concert Complex.

Head of our country, President of the National Olympic Committee Ilham Aliyev decorated the winners with medals.

The State Anthem was played in  honour of the Azerbaijani boxers’ victory.
