Azerbaijan's First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva was on a visit to France, April 11, 2012.
Inauguration of the “Fly to Baku. Modern Art of Azerbaijan” Exhibition
On April 11, opening of an exhibition at famous Salomon de Rothschild mansion of Paris took place on the subject of “Flight to Baku. Modern Art of Azerbaijan” with organizational support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the English version of “Baku” magazine.
Mehriban Aliyeva, Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Minister of Culture and Communication of France Frederique Mitterrand took part in the opening ceremony.
Having opened the ceremony, Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva delivered a speech.
Then Mehriban Aliyeva, Leyla Aliyeva and Minister of Culture and Communications of France Frederic Mitterrand viewed the exhibition .

A dinner was given on behalf of Mehriban Aliyeva in honour of the guests participating in the “Fly to Baku. Modern Art of Azerbaijan” exhibition in Paris, April 11.
Minister of Culture and Communication of France Frederique Mitterrand and First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva delivered a speech at the dinner.
