Mehriban Aliyeva and First Lady of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Mai Thi Hanh visited the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum

Azerbaijan’s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and spouse of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Mai Thi Hanh, who is on a visit to Baku, visited the Carpet Museum, May 14. 

Mehriban Aliyeva informed the guest of the carpet making art in Azerbaijan, and noted that Azerbaijan was among the leading countries of the world in this field. Mehriban Aliyeva said Azerbaijan’s traditional carpet making art was entered on UNESCO’s Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the World in 2010.

After seeing the museum, the guest was presented a souvenir.
