Mehriban Aliyeva and First Lady of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Mai Thi Hanh visited Icherisheher State History and Architecture Reserve

Azerbaijan’s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and spouse of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Mai Thi Hanh visited Icherisheher State History and Architecture Reserve, May 14. 

First entertained to tea, Mehriban Aliyeva and Mai Thi Hanh walked around Icherisheher. The guest was given information about Icherisheher State History and Architecture Reserve, and repair and improvement works carried out here.

Mehriban Aliyeva and Mai Thi Hanh visited also the antiques shop operating within Icherisheher, viewed items being sold here that demonstrate Azerbaijan’s old history and culture. 

The final point of the tour through Icherisheher was the Maiden Tower. Mehriban Aliyeva informed Mai Thi Hanh of the Maiden Tower’s distinguished features.
