On March 6, inauguration of the Cardiac Centre under the Republican Treatment Diagnostics Centre took place.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva attended the inauguration.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva familiarized themselves with the conditions created at the centre.

The newly constructed building of the Cardiac Centre is six-storied. Total area of the building is 13 thousand square metres. Construction of this healthcare institution started early in 2015, with construction and assembly works ending recently. The number of beds in the new centre reached 100, while the number of physician rooms is 35. Basic improvement and greenery planting works are being carried out around the centre. Here will also function a parking area, distinguished for its vastness and modernity.

In the conference room, President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva were shown a short video-film about the path of development the Republican Treatment Diagnostics Centre has passed in the last five years.

Familiarizing themselves with the Cardiac Centre, President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-president Mehriban Aliyeva met with the staff of this medical institution.
