Meeting with UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova

First Vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva met UNESCO Secretary General Irina Bokova in the framework of the 4thWorld Forum on Intercultural Dialogue being held in Baku. 

At the meeting, Mehriban Aliyeva expressed her delight in Irina Bokova’s participation in the Forum, and underscored the urgency of the issues being discussed at this international event. 

Close ties of cooperation  established between UNESCO and Azerbaijan, successful implementation of joint projects were emphasized during the talk, and works carried out towards further extending the relations of our country with this organization were touched upon.
