Mehriban Aliyeva appeals to the parliament in connection with passing a draft law “On Amnesty Act”

Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, MP Mehriban Aliyeva appealed to the parliament in connection with passing an amnesty act on the occasion of 28^th May – the Republic Day.

It is expected that the act will cover some 10 thousand prisoners. The project provides for releasing 3500 people from prison.
