Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Cannes continue

On July 5^th, inauguration of the photo-exhibition devoted to Azerbaijan within the framework of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture being held in Cannes city of France took place.

The exhibition first of all presents the old traditions  of our people, its past and present. The purpose was to deliver the cultural treasures o Azerbaijan and the richness arising from it to the European audience.

After the inauguration of the exhibition, a Jazz concert with participation of Azerbaijani masters of art took place.

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to France Elchin Amirbayov informed the French audience of the Azerbaijani culture. The Ambassador noted that the Azerbaijani music was famous in the world and much work has been done to promote the art of mugham in the world, and that the Jazz music too has big traditions in our country.
