“Woman of the Year” in Azerbaijan

In 2005, according to the results of a social poll conducted by the Azerbaijan Sociology Association, following the initiative of “Women-Leaders” Public Union, Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the title of "The Woman of the Year" for her high ethical qualities inherent in an Azerbaijani woman, and wide-scale philanthropic activity.

On July 18, 2005, a ceremony of presenting the award took place at the Yacht Club in Baku.

18.01.2019 Honorary medal “Uzeir Hajibeyli” On January 18, 2019, Mehriban Aliyeva was conferred on the honorary medal “Uzeir Hajibeyli”, instituted by the Composers Union, for her matchless contributions to preservation of the rich legacy of composer-genius, founder of the contemporary Azerbaijani music Uzeir Hajibeyli, and conveying them to future generations.	21.09.2018 Medal of Special Merit of the International Fair Play Committee On September 22, 2018, Mehriban Aliyeva was presented the Medal of Special Merit of the International Fair Play Committee for her exemplary achievements in the sports world, and promotion of Fair Plays.	18.07.2018 Order of Knight Grand Cross “For Merits” On July 12, 2018, Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with the order of Knight Grand Cross “For Merits” of the Italian Republic.
