Rainbow is one of the most beautiful events in nature. It consists of such main colours as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, sky-blue and violet. Shaped as a circle or arch, rainbow’s colours are arranged in the order of violet at the bottom, red at the top.
These colours are formed when sun rays pass through droplets of water. That is to say a rainbow is reflection of colourful rays formed as a result of white light coming through rain droplets.
A rainbow is formed only during heavy raining. That is to say, in order for a rainbow to form, both heavy raining and sun rays should exists at a time. To see it, one should certainly stand between the Sun (it should remain behind you) and a rain (which should be in front of you). A rainbow is invisible in other conditions.
A rainbow can be seen either early in the morning or towards evening.
