The National Assembly passes the draft resolution “On declaring an amnesty on the occasion of the 28th May - the Republic Day” initiated by Mehriban Aliyeva

On May 20, a special session of the National Assembly, devoted to discussions over a draft resolution "On declaring an amnesty on the occasion of the 28th May - the Republic Day", initiated by President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, took place.

The session was opened by first deputy chairperson of the National Assembly Ziyafet Asgarov.

Mehriban Aliyeva addressed the session. 

After the discussions, the draft resolution “On declaring an amnesty on the occasion of the 28th May - the Republic Day” was put to vote and passed unanimously .
