Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, MP Mehriban Aliyeva appealed to the parliament in connection with passing an amnesty act on the occasion of 28th May – the Republic Day.
It is expected that the act will cover some 10 thousand prisoners. The project provides for releasing 3500 people from prison.
