Mehriban Aliyeva is re-elected president of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation

On December 24, Azerbaijan’s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva was re-elected president of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation.

According to the results of the vote held at the 6th General Assembly of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation of report-and-election nature, Mehriban Aliyeva will head the Federation for the following five years.

As a result of the vote, member of the National Assembly Rauf Aliyev, director of the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Concert Complex Rafig Behbudov and chief coach of the National Team of Azerbaijan for Rhythmic Gymnastics Mariana Vasilyeva were elected members of the Federation’s Executive Committee.
