Mehriban Aliyeva presents medals to winners of the freestyle wrestling competitions among women

Freestyle wrestling competitions among women took place at the Heydar Aliyev Sports Palace within the framework of the 1^st European Games, June 15.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady, Chairperson of the 1^st European Games Organizing Committee Mehriban Aliyeva watched the finals of the competition.

Member of the Azerbaijani national team Maria Stadnik won the gold medal, having gained a victory over all her rivals. In the finals, she competed against Elitsa Yankova from Bulgaria. Stadnik defeated her with the score 12:1.

Then rewarding of the winners took place.
