Azerbaijani wrestlers win one more gold medal at the 1st European Games

On the third day of the 1st European Games, Azerbaijan’s Greco-Roman wrestlers won one gold, one silver and one bronze medals. 

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady, Chairperson of the 1st European Games Organizing Committee Mehriban Aliyeva and family members watched the finals of the competitions. 

Member of Azerbaijan’s national team on Greco-Roman wrestling Elvin Mursaliyev gained a victory over Serbian sportsman Viktor Nemes in the finals of the 75-kg weight category. 

President Ilham Aliyev presented the medals to winners.
