UEFA Europa League Finals: Chelsea and Arsenal football teams compete on the Baku Olympic Stadium

The football team Chelsea was the winner of the UEFA Europa League Finals, held on May 29th on the Baku Olympic Stadium.

The finals, which took place between Arsenal and Chelsea teams, was watched by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and family members.

With a few dangerous situations in the final match, broadcast live in over two hundred countries, the teams could not score a goal at the first halftime. Chelsea started the second halftime more actively. As a result of this activity, at the 49th minute, Olivier Giroudwon one point to his team, making the score 1:0. At the 60th minute of the match, Chelsea scored one more goal. The author of this goal was Pedro Rodriguez. In five minutes, a penalty was awarded. Shooting the penalty kick with precision, Eden Azar scored the third point to his team, making the score 3:0. Although Arsenal could reduce the difference between the points by the magnificent goal of Alex Iwobi at the 69th minute, in two minutes, Eden Azar’s goal changed the score to 4:1, making Chelsea win the match with point difference three.
