President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visit the 25th International “Caspian Oil and Gas -2018” Exhibition

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the 25th jubilee International “Caspian Oil and Gas -2018” Exhibition in Baku Expo Centre, May 29.

The Head of the State and his spouse were given information about the exhibition.

312 oil and gas companies from 38 countries participate in this year’s exhibition. Belarus, Italy and Russia are represented at the event by their national groups.

The exhibition organizers were photographed with President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.

Then, the President and the First Lady signed the guests’ book of the exhibition- conference.

Unique post stamps have been issued to mark the 25th jubilee of Azerbaijan’s first international specialized “Caspian Oil and Gas” Exhibition-conference. The jubilee logotype of the “Caspian Oil and Gas” Exhibition and symbolic oil platform have been depicted on one of the stamp types. On another stamp, a reproduction of a painting depicting Baku on the shore of the Caspian Sea is given. In addition, a postal envelope dedicated to the first exhibition and a special postmark have been made.

President Ilham Aliyev sealed the postage stamps.

The exhibition organizers presented keepsakes to the Head of the State and the First Lady.

Then, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the “Caspian Oil and Gas” Exhibition-conference, President Ilham Aliyev presented the order of “Friendship” to chief consultant of “ITE Group Plc” Andrew Wood and regional director of “ITE Group Plc” Strahan Edward for their contribution to the promotion of Azerbaijan’s achievements and strengthening of the cooperation with foreign countries.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the “Caspian Oil and Gas” Exhibition-conference, and for contribution to the organization of exhibitions in the country, the President conferred executive director of “ITECA Caspian” Farid Mammadov on the “Progress” medal.
