On February 5, President Ilham Aliyev and Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva were greeted, at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport, by state and government officials of Russia.
Unofficial meeting at the Russian President’s residence
On February 5, an official meeting took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at Russian President’s residence near Moscow – Novo-Ogaryovo.
Azerbaijan’s and Russia’s first ladies attended the meeting.
Meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Mrs Lyudmila Putina
On February 6, a meeting took place, at the Red Hall of the Large Kremlin Palace, between President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, his spouse Lyudmila Putina.
In the Ekaterina Hall of the Kremlin, a ceremony of presenting the “Saint Apostil Andrei Pervozvanniy” Order that the Russian State had awarded late President Heydar Aliyev to President Ilham Aliyev took place.
Then a reception was organized in honour of President Ilham Aliyev.
A dinner on behalf of the Russian President’s spouse Lyudmila Putina in honour of Mehriban Aliyeva
On February 6, Mehriban Aliyeva attended the dinner organized by Russian President’s spouse Lyudmila Putina.
Acquaintance with Russia’s famous Tretyakov Gallery
On February 6, Mehriban Aliyeva visited Russia’s famous Tretyakov Gallery, accompanied by Lyudmila Putina.
After acquainting herself with the Gallery, Mehriban Aliyeva wrote her heartfelt words in the Honoured Guests Book.
Acquaintance with a child clinic hospital in Moscow
On February 7, Mehriban Aliyeva visited a child clinic hospital in Moscow.
The First Lady acquainted herself with the treatment methods and functions of the laboratories of the hospital, met with children being treated at the hospital, and their parents, and was photographed with children.
Meeting at the Moscow State International Relations Institute
On February 7, President Ilham Aliyev met with the professional and teaching staff of the higher school – the Moscow State International Relations Institute (University) of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Relations, where he once studied and taught.
President Ilham Aliyev delivered a speech at the event.
